Designing the interface for the world’s only reliability platform. Watermelon provides a no-code testing platform with advanced AI driven capabilities that solve for various testing challenges across web, mobile and desktop applications. I lead the UI team for the app, working closely with the UX lead, product owners and developers.

The process
Designing for Watermelon is a collaborative process which involves the product owners, the design team ane even the CTO at times. I’m responsible for creating the high-fidelity screens, choreographing seamless interactions, and ensuring our design ecosystem remains consistent across all modules.
Information gathering
There are 5 main modules that we work on - the initial step is understanding the requirement. I work closely with the product owners and the UX Lead to get an understanding of the requirements. Wireframes are created at this stage
Design and prototype
Once the wireframes are approved, we start with the visual design. All components, colors and styles are taken from the design system to maintain consistency across the application.
Testing and implementing
After finalizing the design - the dev team takes over and build it using the component library. The developed screens go through a round of design review to make sure everything looks as intended.
Design system
The design system for Watermelon was meticulously created from the ground up to establish a cohesive user experience across various modules. It adheres to the principles of atomic design. Additionally, the development team maintains an extensive component library to maintain uniformity throughout the application.

Marketing website
I did the creative direction and design for the first-ever marketing website for Watermelon. This initial website highlights a selection of the offerings currently available through Watermelon. A comprehensive, fully developed website is currently in progress.
